It's a bit sad to note that, here in Los Angeles, very few people say "Merry Christmas" anymore. It's been replaced by Happy Holidays. That's because L.A. is such a melting pot (not the right term, perhaps pressure cooker?). So, since no one wants to risk the possibility of offense, the generic "Happy Holidays" is used. Not too bad, but it is a change. We also have the schools celebrating Kwanzaa, a new race-based Holiday observance, which almost no one knows anything about, including blacks. But I recall you were of the communist persuasion (?). Not true? Forgive me, I must have confused you with Thorsten or someone. Sorry. Merry Christmas! Will
