Subject: Junior 6 and hash table clearing

Hi all,

I noticed that on the PIII-550, Junior 6 takes 2 seconds to clear a 128 MB hash
table. That means on a slow machine or on Blitz time controls, it is essential
to use a very small hash size (16 MB or below) for Junior.
Didzis Cirulis also just reported that Junior scored only 1/8 in a 40 moves/1
minute blitz tournament (16 MB hash - I suppose - on his AMD 75-P133).

Test suite times are correct because in Analysis mode, the timer in the window
which shows the pondering starts at 0:00:00, even if the timer in the status
window is already at 0:02.

Still I wonder why this is because no earlier Junior version had this problem.
The only other program I know which takes so long is MChess, but that was in
16bit DOS...
