Santa was MAD. Everything was going haywire. The sliegh was broken. One reindeer was lame. The elves were slack at producing presents. Orders were mushrooming. ANDto top it all, Mrs Santa ws grumbling. Knock on the door. Santa opens. A litlle angel with a huge Christmas tree. "Look, Santa, I got you anice Christmas tree. Aint it a nice Christmas Tree. I'm sure you never got such a nice Christmas tree before. Where shall I stick it, please ?" Since then the tradition started of having a Christmas Tree topped by a little angel. .................................................................... Some Chess News from Malta 1. Grand Hotels Chess of Malta is preparaing for a Dolmen Millennium International Chess Tourament at which these GMs will play(amongst several other players):Gligoric, Plaskett, Jozsef Horvatt,Volgov and Ward from 12th to 17th January 2000 in a 9 round open swiss played over five days, 2 rounds per day. Arbiter : A Muscat Baron email:mbaron@mail.link.net.mt 2. Harry Camilleri of Malta won the title of International Master of Correspondence Chess playing in the Argentine Postal Chess League. In 1999, Harry Camilleri won the Malta Championship for the seventeenth time. Camilleri eas also the first Malta player to obtain an Internatonal Elo rating about twenty years ago. 3.
