What does aesthetic have to do with it?  I suppose it's really aesthetic to have
a century called 20th with all the years starting nineteen.

We do not and it is not convention, what it is , is the moronship of the
ignorant masses.

It's not a convention!  Kubrick had a half way decent education is all  that's
why he named it 2001.
