Maybe your problem can be solved, when you >set the correct path to Tablebases in the "chssbase.ini", e.g. (if "C" >is your CD-ROM-drive): "C:\(name of the files on the turbo-CD), may be "TB or >"TBs"). I fear, however, you overestimate my computer skills :-) First of all: I assume that I simply have to add a path to chssbase.ini in a text editor? (Something I have never done before and which I am slightly afraid of, to be honest.) But: there are *dozens* of files on the "Turbo" CD(s)! I *think* those ending in ".emd" are the ones I need, so would "E:\*.emd" be a reasonable idea (my CD-ROM drive is E:\)? Fröhliche Rest-Weihnachten! Charley
