The timing problems [e.g. playing blitz games] are easily solved by a formula
that specifies different time control.

For instance, Ed can have a machine that plays the equivalent of 40/2 by
specifying 3 minutes per move.

Ed can have machines at other time controls, including the icky(tm) blitz and
lightning if he likes.

The speed and quality of opponents is at the discression of the account.
