Dear Fernando, You know that Sargon was a nice program that represented a small step forward in computer chess. It was like the situation in professional sports. Todays' football players would grind up yesterdays players. The same goes for our automobiles. 0 to 100 kph in 0.3 sec is not uncommon for our nitro-fueled rails. Progress is good-- and that is why we will all buy new chess programs in the next millennium (and it starts next year, contrary to what some self-professed experts have said)/ just ask Bill Gates and Ted Turner. Happy Millennium, Tim Frohlick PS Try playing Rex on a PII 133mhz under DOS 6. Not too shabby.
