F6 light's hash tables are limited to 32 MB (with the demo interface, it resets the size to 4 MB on start always). Some reports speak of better results of the light version in games than the full version. I didn't let play games and don't have the full version; I can only say that in test positions F6 light on K6-2/400 (10 MB) was very similar to F5.32 on PII-333 (40 MB). It would be interesting if you could give some test results of the two F6's, from tests under identical conditions. At what type of situations is the full version faster (if at all)?
