Subject: Fritz 6 vs Rebel Century (2 games)

Author: James T. Walker

Date: 13:00:46 12/28/99

Here are two games of Fritz 6 vs Rebel Century at 40/2hrs last night. Both won
with white. The Rebel win is very typical of Rebel. It is not flashy, just
slow death in the end. Fritz was on the PII-333 (80 M hash) and Rebel was on
the K6-3-450 (100 M hash). All settings were default except Fritz 6 is using
the F5.ctg book. In the second game Fritz just let the clock run out while
searching for a "Miracle". It searched over 1 hour on the last move.
