Yes, you are right. As you described, this works if there is only one possible
move to the square, or for the piece clicked. But Heumas is an advanced input
help in ChessBase: a small chess program (a sort of mini-nimzo) allow single
click input even when there are *more* possibilities. The ply dephth of it is
adjustable up to 5 plies. It has a good "hit rate", and if it fails, you can
always correct the move in the slow way. I think it was designed to speed up the
input of large numbers of games from paper (scoresheets etc.).
