Hi I am the owner of Koibito(C) at Fics. For the 1 2 lightning games I usually Use Hiarcs 7.32 I do play it manually. I cannot however play 1 0 with Hiarcs, I use Little Goliath 2000A. I change the 1st line of my notes when I change engine. 1 2 is possible! I use one computer. You can tell I play manually for 1 2 if you watch I take 2 seconds for most moves sometimes 1 second or even 0 seconds for obvious moves. If I take longer than 0 seconds in the opening then I am playing manually. I use Winboard and the Fritz 5.32 interface. I set winboard so that the chessboard overlaps directly with Fritz's board. Alt+tab switches for me. While Winboard is infront I can still see Hiarc's expected move for Scrappy and I can see its evaluation (best move etc). I hold down the best move Hiarcs has found for the pondered move and if scrappy plays the pondered move I release and it registers at 0:00. Sometimes you will see me play a crazy move because Scrappy doesn't play the pondered move and I release by mistake. I play 5 3 very often and use 5 0 in the Fritz interface. I usually take 3 seconds to process moves from Winboard --> Fritz --> Winboard. I noticed that I could play some moves at 2 seconds so I thought I would give 1 2 a try. You can try if you like but its not very easy. Well I hope you enjoy the games that result! Koibito(C) Normal moves I can play in 2 seconds just by playing in the move and switching and putting in the move to Winboard again. Its very tough I use 1 0 timing for Hiarcs and its not easy. I have to rely on Hiarcs finding a good attack so the game finishes quickly. I cannot do this with Fritz 6 or fritz 5.32 because it changes its mind about its move too much so I lose too much time. Hiarcs normally Sticks with its move and doesn't research so it a good choice. I did try Little Goliath at 1 2 against Scrappy but it loses everytime! My book is poor for Little Goliath.
