I did not make my meaning clear at all. I think that *both* parties could use a
friendlier tone. I have also seen that you and Vincent have had some "spirited
exchanges" that are a bit on the edge.

What I hope for is that all of us can deal with the others in a civilized way.
In the case that one party becomes uncivilized or in some other way appears to
be in violation or near violation of the charter that the following action takes
place:
0. Send a message using the CCC moderator form which has:
1. The message number included
2. The passage which is found to be offensive pointed out {I miss them
sometimes}
Then, those parties will [hopefully] receive the needed attention.

Here is what I wish *NOT* to take place:
0. Poster one calls poster two a "stupid noo-noo head."
1. Poster three calls poster one a "poo-poo brain."
2. More posters jump on the band wagon with equally acrid terms, flaming
randomly as they choose sides.
3. Now, I have to delete a hundred posts and send messages or post an
explanation or whatever.

As you can see, I'm not interested in justice as much as peace and quiet.
;-)
But perhaps both can be served if we act in a dignified manner and treat all
posters (especially those we disagree with) with respect. Again, I am not
pointing this message at any poster in particular, but at all posters in
general. However, all posters who have contributed to this thread (including
me) may possibly benefit the group by toning down a bit.

In other words, I don't think "fighting fire with fire" is the answer to the
problem. Not that I have never done that. But that such a strategy does not
accomplish the intended purpose in a forum such as this most of the time.
