US has less influence in the governing body. :) I wish it was different. ACM use to sponsor a US Computer Chess Championship. I would love to see a North American tournament. I would love to see MChess pro, Stobar, Crafty, Ferrett and others battle it out (my opinion would be that any program could enter, just have the tournament in the US). Perhaps we could allow GM/IM participation as well. :) Just a thought. We would need a sponsor. Best Regards, Chris Carson
