As somebody mentioned "The moon is a harsh mistress" last week I thought it only just to mention that Robert Heinlein already wrote about above subject, as early as 1957. In "The menace from earth", one of my favorite short SF-stories, people on the moon can go fly in an enormous cavern, the "Bat-cave". Because lunar gravity is only one sixth of earth's, flying like a bird or bat, not just gliding, actually becomes possible. It's a terribly romantic story, sophisticated woman from earth visiting luna threatens to disturb relationship between bright teenage heroïne and fellow partner in space-ship design, etc.. Required reading though, for those of us who are into SF! It's published in "The Past Through Tomorrow", Henlein's "Future History" stories but it's quite some time ago that I bought that so I don't know if it's still available. Happy Newyear! Eelco
