For what it's worth, after playing about 100 games against other programs in
Yahoo chess (friends who, like me, are addicted to program v program play),
Nimzo 7.32 indeed is powerful; however, there is a caveat involved.

Playing on a 450 mhz K-6 2, 128 MB ram, Nimzo defeated a Fritz 6 on a Pentium
600 III, 128 MB ram, twice. The time control was 15/10, Fischer time.

Nimzo seems to me to be very powerful at longer time controls, but remarkably
weak in games played under 15 minutes. My impression is that Hiarcs 732 is
incredibly strong in faster games ( under 5 minutes),while Fritz 5.32 is strong
at all time controls.

In conclusion, if played at tournament time controls, Nimzo 7.32 does seem to be
stronger then my Fritz 5.32, Hiarcs 7.32, Chessmaster 7000 and Arasan 5.00.
