I don't know if this applies to anybody here, but the Chessmaster team has told me that they have received about 10 e-mails from people who cannot run the patch for Chessmaster 7000. The team has determined that it happens to anybody who has Internet Explorer 3.x or earlier. They are aware of the problem and there should be a new version of the patch up today. If you have already successfully patched Chessmaster 7000, then you do not need this new version of the patch. jm
