DAMNATION. Hope very few people see it. I'm still getting 20-40 emails per day
with people enjoying the intense pain of not being able to solve it. And lots of
wrong answers by amateurs, mainly with overlooked checks, or mates that aren't
mates. Here's a random example from the latest batch of ten Christmas Puzzle
mails this morning:

"My solution: 1. e4 Nc6 2. a4 Nb4 3. Ra3 c6 4. d4 Qa5 5. Rd4 Nxd4#. I realized
in few minutes that is black who makes the mate! Totally I spent 2 hours and 10
minutes (one hour sleepless at night!). Happy New Year and Millennium!"

If he doesn't see the solution he'll have more hours of pleasure in the new
millennium.
