Fritz6X is definetly not only a version which is using different paras.
One of the main points is a different method of node evaluation. Endgame is
often better. As far as I know there are changes for including new knowledge
too. According to my tests T67 seems to 30-50 points stronger than the second
f6-cd-version which was again stronger than the first one in GER. And there is
still a stronger X-Version.
I am just playing a 7-Tournament with f6x, have a look at
