Subject: Game-clocks in Hiarcs 7.32 and Fritz 5.32

Hi,
I've had the following problem with the Fritz 5.32 (interface) almost since I
purchased it, several months ago, and now also with Hiarcs 7.32 (just arrived):-

Game between engine A and engine B, for instance - engine A spends
ten minutes on a move. This ten minutes is returned to it (Engine A) the
moment engine B moves;likewise, the time engine B uses on its reply is returned
to it the moment engine A makes its response, and so on. Like a bizarre version
of Fischer time. Same pattern regardless of whether blitz or tournament times
used. It happens with any two engines and in all engine v. human games also. I
don't know if it's a problem with my computer or with the common ChessBase
folder/directory, or something else. Chessbase.com don't have a solution (yet).

My PC is a Celeron 400mhz, 128Mb RAM, Windows '98.

I would appreciate any help.

Thanks,
Tom Nolan
