If you have a Sega console that says "64 bit" on it, that means the graphics controller is 64 bit. The processor is still 32 bit, but they don't tell you that, because it's not as sexy. The reason video game consoles have amazing graphics is because they now come with relatively high-end 3D graphics chips. You can go to the store and buy a similar graphics chip for your PC. They cost less than $100. Bruce already covered the pros and cons of 64 bit processors for chess programming, so I won't go into that. -Tom
