I think every current competitive program gets stronger with faster hardware (or longer time controls). But the improvement in strength is not uniform for all programs. It is posible that Diep gains more strength from the longer time controls than Chess Tiger; but the opposite is also quite posible. The only way I know to find out is to play some test games at different time controls. >Maybe some people are already brainwashed by Vincent's words? > He is quite persuasive. > > Christophe I am looking forward to the games of this match. Should be quite interesting. I hope that Thorsten can post, besides the game scores, the programs' evaluations and main lines, at least in the critical moves. José.
