It does not test book,learning use of time and it is also a tactical test but this test was very good in predicting the ssdf rating. I guess that the reason is that usually the better tactical programs(tested by ssdf) are also better in other areas of chess. The test is of course not instead of playing because you cannot discover exceptions to the rule that the better program in tactcis is also better in other areas of chess without games. Uri
