No idea. It just happens to be one of my favourite sacrifices. Rubinstein was
black. Dunno who played with the white pieces.

Since you find the move Rxc3, you obviously extend more during the
normal search or you do more during the q-search.

I'd like to see numbers from other engines. Maybe if some other
programmer reads this, he could give us some numbers? :)

:-)) My engine sees the move in ply8 or ply9 - not sure now.
