Subject: Win98 Defrag & Tablebase Access Speed

Does the Windows 98 Defrag Utility increase or decrease the speed at which Fritz
6 accesses tablebases?

I defragmented my hard drive after installing the Endgame Turbo CD, and it seems
like the disk spins a lot when Fritz 6 uses the tablebases in its search. I
used the default settings for the defragmenter, which is supposed to actually
fragment some files to make access faster. Could this be bad for tablebase
access?

I have a PIII 500 with a 22 gig hard drive and 256 mb of ram.
