The only way I know of doing that is with special tools.  For instance, you can
use Chess Assistant to import the EPD data and it will annotate its openings.
Then you can search for the position and you will have all the forwards and
backwards data, along with the counts of won/loss/draw, who played it etc.

Another option is to load the data into CDB, but it does not import EPD
perfectly and it is hard to search for a position.

Bookup is another commercial option that I know of.

To just view the EPD positions, you can get Manfred Rosenboom's excellent
EPD2DIAG tool at the Rebel web page.
