CM5500 is not the same engine as as CM6K and CM7K. The last two versions are the only chessmaster that is suppose to have the same enigne. And as far as I know, the defualt settings are the settings that you use when you install the program. As for CM6K just create a new login, under I am the next bobby Fischer, and you should get it best default.
