The main point is to see if what the chessmaster team stating in that they might have a better setting than the default is true or false. They CM team tested it against the default, stating that it could be a better setting than the default, but did not have time to test it. So it would therefor be best to test using that method against the default. You are playing a CM6666 personality setting that could be better or worse than the default. So even if the Josh setting wins, you still do not know whether it is better or worse than the default, which is the benchmark, and was that not the point ? As for CM6666 and other settings, before you joined CCC, I along with a few others on here tested many personalities and settings. I have in total over 1000 games played at various time controls. quite a few at 40/2hr time settings. And it is already been said that CM6666 might not perform well at longer time control.
