Something else about the evaluations of these programs is that even in this
position after 23...h4 they count as a bonus for black the pair of bishops,
which is adding insult to injury. Related to the inability to see the exceptions
to the rules, there is a nice position from a game Short-Timman:

Here the white King must go to h6 via g3. The programs that have the best king
safety fail to find Kg3. Inversely, programs with king safety problems find it
