Subject: question re athlon

  I wonder if anyone esp. computer expert can tell me if Athlon 500mhz.
is definately quicker than amd k6-3 400mhz.  with all chess programs.
   If so, would the same go for athlon 500 vs k6-3 450?
Is it true that with same mhz. athlon is slower?
