Do you honestly think we are putting Kasparov's triumphs in the Memory Hole (citing Orwell here)? No. He is the strongest player in the world, we all know that. One of the greatest of all time. Maybe the greatest. But as a human being, he is beset with frailties and failings of character that would suggest he his emulating his more eccentric brethren on the throne. Charley
