I would to take this opportunity to clarify some recent events. This is not really on the subject of computer programs so move on if that is what you were looking for. Instead I wanted to clear the air with the people responsible for this forum. I've read a few of the articles and I have been intrigued by the intensity of the conversations within. However it is my OPINION that this forum is run by a "select" few who seem to think they can do as they please because they are running this forum. Why do I say this? I have some merit behind my accusations. About four nights ago I was playing on my favorite chess site (yahoo!) when someone came in with the following name: "david_ballard_aka_curious_bob." Now frankly I did not choose my real name (thankful that I didn't now). The fact is that someone on here read my posts and stalked me over to yahoo. Not only that but he\she seemed to pretend that they knew me. Now I am all for jokes, and maybe that was one albeit a revolting one! So in a joking response I posted a rather hilarious (in my opinion) letter. In this I stated not to take it seriously and to leave it be so that the person who stalked me had a chance to reply to it. Not only was it deleted shortly, but in the email sent to me the "system administrator" told me to and I quote: "grow up." If this is yet another joke then maybe I don't have the brand of humor necessary to participate in this forum. I realize that you have an obligation to keep the posts toward the topic of chess software, but honestly sometimes you need to have a little fun with things. I seriously hope that you realize their are worse people than me posting to this forum! I.E. people who stalk others and think it is merely a joke. I'd like to hope that this forum is run by some people older than 15 but I guess I will have to wait and see. P.S. I think that you need to address this within the forum instead of deleting it and insulting me at my email address where no one else will know of the cowardice action.
