I don't care what other programs were doing back in 1993 when they
played...  scratchy played players like Junior (not the program, but
Junior on ICC) plus other GM and IM players.  I watched a lot of them.

In playing there, at blitz it won 141, lost 1 and drew 4.  In standard, it
won 374, lost 14 and drew 37.  Hardly any were against weak players.  Most
were 2 12 and similar time controls which is not a real fast T/C.

What does that have to do with Deep Blue?  If you don't manage your time well,
you lose.  Simple, really.  It has happened to me.  I fixed it.
