Well your kid is doing good in some crosstables and bad in some others.

I believe he bases his opinion not on absolute numbers and results but
exclusively on playing style and positional understanding and he loves
the romantic chess style (old gambit openings etc) which implies that
he does not care if your kid wins in the end by transforming the position
like Petrosjan into an endgame with a slight advantage and wait for Nalimov
to do the finish :)

He is a big fan of De Koenig´s programs for example. Nevertheless he did
a "hatchet job" versus The King, so I don´t think that his article is
intentionally biased.

You guys are upset about nothing...
