Never say 'never'.  Darn.  I just said it.  Twice.
At any rate, if nothing else, the patent will expire in 7 years.  I will admit
that by that time, ordinary hardware may have caught up (though that is quite a
long shot).  But even if that is the case, the technology may have direct
application.  Next year, Hsu may get a backer.  Perhaps the Japanese [Hitachi?]
may get interested.  Why not the Russians?  It's a lot cheaper than landing a
man on the moon and to say you are the best in the world at something is quite
an attention grabber.

I am absolutely sure that within ten years that technology (or something
superior) will be available.  It is inevitable.  But, as a great man once said,
"I hate waiting..."
