I purchased Rebel Century in 1999. There was a comment on the Rebel web site
that stated that the Rebel for Windows UPGRADE would be offered for $29.00 for
owners of Rebel Century. The Rebel-Tiger program is being sold for $59.00. I was
assuming that the Windows upgrade to Rebel Century was the new Rebel-Tiger
program for Windows. If this is so would I be paying $29.00 for the upgrade as
the web site stated, or would I have to pay $59.00, which is the price that is
quoted on the Rebel web site?

The update price is for the successor of Century, the Windows version of REBEL
written by Ed Schroder.
Rebel-Tiger is the first chess program of Christophe Theron, so no updates.

Hope this clarifies your question.

These price policies strike me as clearly less (Loyal?), 'customer friendly'
than some other companies that are making a lot of upgrades & other 'flavors' of
their products, in which they give you a (price), break regardless of the
product being in the same, or different Gui. Oh well...
