Maybe its stupid, maybe not. I will try it and see if it works for me. Its not about root processing or speed, its about avoiding stupid moves that my and other chess searchers do. By doing this I hope to keep my overall serch depth high and avoid some mistakes w.o. resorting to extensions. Sometime in the future I will try to evaluate a hashing method that recognizes similar positions, that really would solve it better. Regards Dan Andersson
