The most interesting, from my point of view, will be some mate position that demand no more that 16 plies to search. Beyond this it will take too long time to reach by brute force your final result. About what logic is the best one, this is not difficult to recognize. Many, and between the best logics, will go down anyway, at any number of plies when the position is too heavy for its brain. To see that this is true you can visit some special sites that offer some "strange" mate containing positions. Few of those positions are just bewildering and fantastic. I hope that somebody else will come here with in less time reachable mate containing position to enjoy solving it. Leonid.
