In the process, however, they get more than just his chess playing ability: THEY GET HIS EGO, TOO. Once the machine is turned on, it defeats every grandmaster on the planet. But...since Kasparov's ego is also magnified by the speed of the machine, it decides to take over the world (the machine would only need to speed up Kasparov's native thought processes a little for this scenario to be realistic). To defeat the Kasparov beast, Bruce and Bob travel backward in time and explain to a young Bobby Fischer what has happened. The three of them then travel back to the present, and Fischer defeats Deep Kasparov. In a fit of rage, the machine accuses Fischer of cheating and self-destructs. Raj
