Peter,

Nicely said. :)

In addition, It was my post that Ed responded to, so it was
my mistake. :)

The average GM rating is 2485, with a range between 2013 and
2851. I would argue that 2492 is higher than an average GM
rating. see: http://www.icdchess.com/ccc/message.html?88016
The link also points up to the corrected data for all 21 games
and has a link to the complete FIDE list.

On AMD 400/450 Rebel is very impressive. The TPR is around
2593 which would place it at the 100th position on the list,
but this is just a TPR (programs are not allowed access to events
to get real ratings or titles). That TPR is
also better than 88.1% of the GM's on the FIDE list (performance only).
Pretty strong performance. :)

With the Hoffman and other AMD 600 games combined with
the AMD 400/450 (14 games I think), the TPR is 2534.
This would put Rebel at the 283 position on the
FIDE GM list. This is beter than 66.34% of all GM's. Just
a TPR, but IMHO stronger than average. :)

Best Regards,
Chris Carson
