I've only left the USA once, and only for about a day, so to be honest, that's
something that it's imposible for me to relate to. I very seldom leave my
little Polish little quarry town anymore. But here in the USA, a large
percentage of the people and polititions think that a way to protect you, is to
take away your rights and restrict your freedom, they're very wrong. On the
other hand, myself, I don't think people have any right to build factories near
my river or tamper with the flood plains, or build new highways that go though
my forests. Is that the same, or different than CCC essentially(?), I don't
know.

I wasn't asking him to leave, I would not do that, I was simply pointing him to
where he could find un-moderated computer Chess discusion. Several of us
frequent R.G.C.C. I'm there, so are Jeroen, Steve Lopez, Robert Hyatt, Dann
Corbit, Bruce Moreland, Michel Chassey, I've even seen Frank Quisinsky post
there.

I've told people posting there with real serious Chess programming questions
that they should join CCC because this is a better place to ask programming
questions.

I ignore the vast majority of posts here, and I am somewhat selective about
who's posts I do read, obviouslly I read many of yours, not all of them though
because many of the topics here don't interest me at all. So it's easy for me
to ignore the trouble makers.

As for the moderators, their existance does force people to try to behave, so if
people try to remain civil, that's good. But, moderators, that's just the
nature of the CCC beast.

Pete
