Not to mention how much memory it would take to compute them. 7 piece files could be built with techology we have today and stored, but 8 piece files would be so expensive it will be a long wait before we see them [perhaps 'famous last words' -- but that's what I think] It will require a whole new type of technology to hold or create a ten piece tablebase file. Some of the 6 piece files Eugene made are too big to fit on a CD (for a *single* tablebase file -- not a set)
