Well, the Chessbase themes CDs are still very expensive. But that wasn't the
point.
You said that "Junior6 cost less, because I've bought Fritz6, for example.". And
you can't name a shop where I can get Fritz6 for less than the normal price
because I own Fritz6. I don't like people making claims they havn't
verified/can't prove and make judgements from that. But I like that you are
honest enough to admit it.

A while ago Chessbase sold Fritz+GUI for about double the price and you could
buy other engines and use them under the same GUI. That was the same concept
Millenium GmbH (Millenium System +Zarkov etc...) is using now.
But Chessbase changed to selling Junior/Nimzo/Fritz/Hiarcs +GUI seperately.
Exactly the same as Schroeder B.V. is doing with Tiger/Rebel now.

bigger= better? I don't think so. I own Fritz6 and I'm happy with it. I would be
even more happy though if they'd released a fix for the completely unusable
printing routine within the first few months after Fritz6 was released. Do you
think Ed would have taken so long for that fix?

So, in conclusion; I don't think you can say that one company has better
support/ pricing etc. They are simply different.

Georg
