I think this is an excellent "half-solution." What I mean by that is that if you are alloted 5 minutes to solve a position, you should run the engine for 5 minutes (unless if finds a checkmate). But also, if a move is supposed to win a queen, then the change in ce should be ten full pawns. If you change by one half pawn but choose the right move, it is not really the right "reason" yet. Sometimes, all roads lead to Rome as long as you choose the right first step, but more often they don't. IOW, a correct solution is the right move + the right eval. IMO - YMMV.
