Maybe there are programs like CST and Diep >that need really long time controls, but for the rest it is roughly the same, I >think. > sorry enrique, but here you are definetely wrong. all of my chessbits data is showing that some programs gain or loose a lot of strength in comparison to others, while other programs are not influenced. not influenced for example is Fritz 5.32 strong in all disciplines a difference you can see with hiarcs. better at short time controls, not as good at longer time controls. also you can see a difference with tiger. at longer time-controls he is by far not as superior as at short time controls. the most difference you can see with nimzo 7.32. at 30m/game he is far away from the top, but at 3h/game he is on the very top. all is to be seen soon in the new chessbits. marcus
