Yes it is possible to play winboard programs between two computers thanks to a
terrific program called wbengine.exe written by Remi Coulom(author of the crazy
bishop). To do it do the following--
1.Download wbengine from Remi Couloms web site(can be accessed from gambitsoft)
2.Buy or make up a null modem cable 2---3
3---2
4---5
5---4
6+8---20
7---7
20---6+8
3.Connect cable from comport2 to comport2.
4.Follow instructions that come with wbengine, modify *.cui files etc
5.Start up slave computer first then master computer and you will see program
playing program on two computers.
In my opinion this is the best way to test programs against one another.
I am using windows 98.
Hope this helps you and many thanks to Remi Coulom for this wonderful program.
Yours sincerely
