On the "GM's do not like to lose" comment I recall
Yasser Sierawan's comment to a game he drew in the last Aegon
Tournament. He was disgusted with himself for allowing the computer to get a
draw (I believe the opponent was Cilk Chess). This I think typically describes
all serious chess players - we want to win always and many times scourn draws
as well. It's an an intense, fighting game that somehow draws you in totally
during the playing experience. Aegon for me was a valid test ground for Human -
Comp play for this reason. The players there surely gave their best determined
effort to win every game.
