That is fine with me if we are talking about non-tournament time controls. But not if it is in tournament time controls. That would be a terrible shame.It may be wrong of him also.But still it is understandable. It is a greater amount of work and nerve for which he is not being paid extra.Also, it is too big a risk for many reasons, for which he will never be compensated. Even if it was 100% sure his success rate against fritz 6 would be 9/10 it may not be worth his risk of it being that one loss. But for us, it's not nice, but it's not all that bad. There are other oppurtunities to see Kasparovs top class technique against a machine. Still I hope that machines WILL be part of tournament chess on tournament time controls and on comercially available hardware. S.Taylor
