The human is still far above the computer, but only if he has time to work everything out properly. People want to see how the top humans tear these beasts to peices.But the human must be extremely careful. That's the main problem.But "perfect chess" should always beat todays computers. What I don't think is so interesting is seeing a computer beat human because of small errors due to human failings which the computer is not intereted in competing against anyway. So perhaps I agree with you if it is quick time controls, that there need not be computer admission. Quick time controls is more like sport/rescourcefulness/psychology, tournament time controls-like an art/science etc. S.Tayor
