On the website of Chess Assistent 5.0 I found between the delta's of 4.0 and
5.0:

New features in Tree mode.

You can analyze and annotate positions directly in the tree.
CAP data (2 million analyzed positions) is included. Future importing
of huge
amounts of analyzed data is foreseen and provided.
Simultaneous view of evaluations given by different engines.
Switching between different trees directly in the tree.

Dann,

I put questionmarkes to the 2 million. Dann are the reaLLY having 2.0 million
positions??? On your ftp site in the private section (CAP-members only section)
there are only 950.000 unique positions. You said in another messaage on this
board that you expect a CD from overseas. Does this mean you don't have 2.0
million yet and expect to have 2.0 million positions if all data is merged??

Or does CA means 2.0 million because you have primary base and a secondary base
of CAP data and you publish only the BEST data on your FTP-site in the private
base which is 950.000 unique positions?

Or does CA has much more positions of CAP data??

I also saw in the CAP files a lot of positions where the nodecount is < 0. Is it
a good idea to analyze these positions 1 ply deeper and save them in the
database so eventually we don't have negative values in the primary base
anymore....?? (Project "Negakiller")
