:You are right, Michael, it is a null move problem. I can give you dozens of Zugzwang positions which Fritz cannot solve in its default settings. Does it mean, there is no way for Fritz to solve the problem in its default settings? Or will the solution be found after a longer time? Maybe in games such positions are very unlikely so that this problem doesn't affect the playing strength. But I havn't a good feeling when I think about it.
